10/2022: The startup porous GmbH has received one of the most prestigious EU grants to clinically validate the bone microstructure analysis invented in our research group. Our team and the Center for Muscle and Bone Research will support the project and coordinate the planned multicenter prospective validation study.  A big thank you and applause to the entire porous team and all partners who have supported us so far!

10/2022: DFG will support the project "Diagnosis of cortical bone status with quantitative in vivo ultrasound imaging - TaCoSound InVivo" for 3 years starting in 2023. 

12/2021: Together with the startup poroUS GmbH, a spin-off of our team, has successfully received funding from ILB in the programs "Profit" and "Gründung innovativ" in the amount of 1.3 Mio € to develop quantitative bone imaging towards a medical device and to conduct a Health Tech Assessement on this topic.
